The Amphibian Foundation has worked with and trained many amazing volunteers and interns over the years, and prioritize a strong relationship with a diverse conservation community, including our volunteers, interns, staff, board, partners, and the public.
Our programs and initiatives are centered upon these important relationships. Whether you are interested in husbandry and helping us take care of the over 600 reptiles and amphibians in our education and research collections, rearing endangered species of amphibian for conservation programs, teaching Critter Camp, or helping us communicate amphibian conservation advancements to the world, there are many opportunities to get involved with the Amphibian Foundation and saving amphibians!
Our Education Team is a passionate group that loves to teach people about amphibians and reptiles. We fully train our educational staff, and make sure everyone is comfortable and skilled at animal handling as well. Educational Volunteers get opportunities for career building teaching experiences, such as: educational events at AF, helping with Critter Camp, birthday parties, field trips to AF, and elsewhere — you name it! Educational Volunteers do not have to commit to more than they are available for, but are expected to remain communicative and engaged with the Education Team.
