Carroll County Mock Trial Training Sessions
This year because of the COVID Pandemic, we will be holding a series of online training sessions instead of having in person Mock Trials. During these sessions the State's Attorney, Judges and Attorney Coaches will be offering training sessions on different aspects of trials. The sessions will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM via Google Meets. Sessions are scheduled for the following dates:
Tuesday, January 5, 2021: Opening Statements by Brian DeLeonardo, State’s Attorney for Carroll County
Tuesday, January 12, 2021: Rules of Evidence and Courtroom Etiquette by The Honorable Fred S. Hecker, Carroll County Circuit Court Administrative Judge
Tuesday, January 19, 2021: Direct and Cross Examination by Zoa Barnes, Esq. of Hill, Barnes, & McInerney, LLC
Tuesday, February 2, 2021: Closing Arguments by Stephen Roscher, Esq., Senior Assistant State’s Attorney for Carroll County (retired)
