WIDE ANGLE YOUTH MEDIA: This workshop event took place on September 9, 2023

DIGITAL HARBOR FOUNDATION: Digital Harbor Foundation operates innovative programs that provide youth with access to tech-powered learning opportunities, support educators through high-quality training and content, and close the gap between academic innovation and local economies.
In this hands-on workshop, educators will be introduced to e-textiles. By combining basic sewing skills with simple electric circuitry, participants will have the opportunity to create their own hand-sewn light up bracelet. In addition, educators can find ways to incorporate equity-based teaching strategies into a future lesson that inspires students to reflect on their own strengths.

  • Location: Digital Harbor Center for Excellence; 1045 Light St. Baltimore, MD 21230
  • Date: Saturday November 11, 2023
  • Time: 9:30 am-1:30pm
