This program is intended to meet the immediate needs of our Boulder County farming community as they start families while also operating farm businesses. While we believe all families deserve this kind of safety net, we have to start somewhere so we are starting with the farm businesses in our community. See the end of this form if you are interested in learning more about ‘why’ we think this is important for our sector, in particular. Also, please reach out if you have any questions about if this fund is a fit for you and your farm family or about the program in general. This is very much a grassroots effort and our goal is to get resources, quickly, out to parents welcoming new babies and facing all the unique challenges that come with this part of life.
We have a limited amount of funding for the 1st cycle but we hope it will be enough for everyone who needs it at the time of this launch. We are continuing to fundraise as we roll out this fund and may adjust award amounts listed below in order to spread resources further if it’s deemed necessary upon application review. Our hope is to have enough funds to fund multiple cycles of this grant and build it as an ongoing program for our community and potentially beyond.
We will review applications on an ongoing basis and by November 15th at the latest. Applications must be received by the 15th. The first round of recipients will be selected by November 22nd. If we have more funds after the initial cycle we will reach out for a next cycle shortly there-after.
Requirements for first round:
