As members of the club, junior riders will be given the opportunity to attend at least 26 sessions throughout the year which will include a mixture of focused coaching, coach-led rides, racing events and 'fundamentals of movement' activities, which will use off-the-bike exercises to improve cycling fitness/ability. All coaches are Scottish Cycling qualified coaches (through the UKCC coaching accreditation program) that have received training in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, and have been checked and cleared through Disclosure Scotland background checks.
Any information provided about your child will be kept confidential and secure. It will only be used for the purpose of contacting you or your child regarding future club and Go-Ride events.
Riders will use their own bikes. Occasionally we have 'test' bikes available that may be utilised if available. All members MUST wear a helmet. Failure to attend with a helmet and fully functioning bike will result in the rider being unable to participate in the session.
