Heart Gallery Volunteer Photographers

Thank you for your interest in becoming a photographer for the Michigan Heart Gallery! More than 3,000 youth in Michigan are hoping to find their forever family. By photographing these children, you are helping create the building blocks to make that dream a reality. The Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange is truly grateful for the donation of your time and talent towards this recruitment effort.

Please fill out the form below. MARE will match you based upon your travel requirements and how many youth you would like to photograph. When the youth are registered, they also have specific travel requirements. Some children are able to travel to a studio or an outdoor photo session, but for others it makes them more comfortable to have their photo session at their residence. All youth will be accompanied by a chaperone through the duration of the session.

Once you have been matched, MARE will send you an information packet about the child(ren) you are photographing. MARE will pass along your contact information to their adoption worker - they are responsible for establishing first contact. From there, you will schedule a date/time directly with their worker. If at any time you are having trouble coordinating a photo session, please let MARE know immediately and we will assist you.

If you have any questions, concerns or would like more information, please contact MARE Recruitment Specialist Jessica Thompson. She can be reached via email at jessica_thompson@judsoncenter.org or phone at (734) 528-2070. Thank you again for all of your help with the Michigan Heart Gallery. We are looking forward to working with you!
