Yearbook Club Application 19-20
PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTINUING!!!
Yearbook Club is open to 7th and 8th graders ONLY. Once you turn in a completed application, I will send a teacher recommendation form to your ELA teacher from LAST year. Application does not guarantee selection.
THIS APPLICATION WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED IF FILLED OUT BY THE STUDENT, NOT THE PARENT.
Requirements for all applicants: (Please read before completing the application)
● Works well with others
● Reliable and trustworthy
● Stays on task
● Be willing to help out others
● Will ask for help if needed
● MUST be passing/and continue to pass all classes in order to be considered and stay in the club
● YOU WILL NOT JUST TAKE PICTURES. YEARBOOK IS A LOT OF HARD WORK WITH STRICT DEADLINES.

The yearbook is a club that requires dedication and responsibility. Students need to have good time management, be reliable in order to show up for meetings and photo-taking opportunities, and be accountable to finish layout pages in a timely manner.

Sometimes yearbook members have to complete tasks they do no like. Explain how you have shown dedication even though something was difficult or you did not like it.
Why do you want to be part of the Yearbook Editor Team?
Write a paragraph explaining why you want to be part of the Yearbook Editor Team.
What strengths can you contribute to the Yearbook Editor Team?
Really take time to think about what you will contribute to the staff that other people would not.
List any extracurricular activities in which you participate or plan to participate. This can be in or out of school.
