Bouygues E&S Solutions, InfraRed and Vercity (formerly HCP) are working with staff and partners to create a circular economy - Lifecycle Project. This social value initiative will up-cycle donated bicycles, through collaboration with HM Prison Services, and gift them to Key Workers and those in need, thus promoting sustainable transport and helping to reduce social exclusion.
The bikes will be serviced and renovated in prison workshops, providing important upskilling and employment opportunities for prisoners, who receive full bike mechanic training.
We have seen huge demand from hospital workers for the renovated bikes, mainly for getting to and from work, and we are in need of more bikes, adult bikes in particular. If you have an old or unused adult bike you are able to donate to a hospital worker please fill in the form below. We will contact you as soon as possible with more information on whether we can use your bike.
We have storage in Peterborough, Oxford and West London and will arrange to come and collect your bike if you are not able to drop it off.
If you have more than one bike to donate please complete this form for each bike.
