The Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law (CHRCL) invites you to a series of Friday lunch webinars, free of cost and CLE eligible. Each webinar will include a 60-minute presentation, followed by a 30-minute strategic discussion for those who wish to join the discussion. Participants will receive an electronic copy of CHRCL’s practice advisories on the subject matters covered.
The webinars outlined below will be facilitated by Peter Schey, Executive Director of the Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law. The Center has won major class action state and federal impact cases and has trained hundreds of attorneys and paralegals in the past.

December 9th: Immigrant Children in Federal Custody (12-1:00PM, Pacific Standard Time followed by discussion 1:00-1:30 PM)
This webinar will review the current status of the Flores class action litigation involving all minors detained by ICE or ORR, future steps in the litigation, and the rights of class members under the Flores settlement and current court orders.
December 16th: Immigrant Children Eligibility for Essential Social Services (12-1:00PM, Pacific Standard Time followed by discussion 1:00-1:30 PM)
This webinar will review the current status of laws and regulations relating to immigrant children eligibility for a wide range of services and benefits under federal and California laws, rules and regulations, including for example educational assistance, lunch programs, health programs, programs for youth with disabilities, etc.
