Bus Information Update

Help Us Start the School Year Smoothly!
The Effingham County Transportation Department needs your help to ensure a smooth start to the school year. To plan effectively, we need accurate information about student bus ridership.

Please complete the form below for each child enrolled in our schools, based on their regular transportation needs.

  • If your child rides the bus for most of the year (even if they don’t during a specific season, such as football), please select "Bus Rider."

  • If your child will ride the bus fewer than 3 days a week, choose the option that best matches your situation.

Note: Bus passes will still be available if your child needs to ride the bus occasionally, provided a school-approved note is submitted.

Please remember that school choice students and non-zoned waiver students are ineligible for bus transportation. If your students are attending school on a non-zoned waiver they may be denied transportation.
