You will learn in real time what centuries before have told us about the injustices of slavery, the resiliency of humanity, and the power of love in the act of redemption in the lives of modern day slaves.
Learn from organizations that are working hard to end the slavery that still exists on this same soil. One day will be spent on Lake Volta learning first hand about the struggle of modern day slavery, poverty and their systemic relationship. Spend time looking into the eyes and getting to know the hearts of those who have been rescued and redeemed. This trip specifically will be spent understanding the challenges of high school students in Ghana as Be2Live begins the work of partnering with Faith Roots International Academy to build a high school on site.
The majority of our time will be spent at City Of Refuge Ministries (CORM), a children’s home, school, and women’s training center, supporting their mission and work.
Open to all those who are juniors in high school or above by application and interview.
