Minority Business Equipment and PPE Grant
Guidelines
o This grant is available for the purchase of new equipment or the repair of existing equipment that will be used only for business-related purposes. It can also be used to purchase Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
o Maximum grant request: $1,000

Grant Eligibility
o 18 and older
o Owner or future owner of a small business
o Meet all federal, state and local business regulations
o Be current up-to-date on sales and income tax
o Be a US ethnic minority
o Applicants must be an IL SBDC WIU QC client and have had at least one appointment
Deadline
o All applications must be submitted by December 15, 2020, at 11:59 p.m.
This grant is made possible through a collaboration with Mercado on Fifth, the Illinois Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union and the Illinois Small Business Development Center at WIU.
