Heritage Helpers: One off museum volunteering expression of interest
Register to be one of our new team of heritage helpers. A flexible way to volunteer at York’s largest museums.
We are recruiting a pool of volunteers to be called up to support events and exhibitions in the city, such as York Viking Festival, Roman Festival, NRM Lates.
This is a great way for you to gain varied experience, build confidence in your communication skills and get to know the museums sector, and you can just sign up when you are available.

Receive notifications of events and sign up if you are available.
Please note all these opportunities are for low commitment roles, if you wish to gain more in depth experience or volunteer with a specific collection we encourage you to apply for a regular volunteer role more details can be found on our web pages.
