Delegate Application for PHTT 2019 (Round 2)
Apply to be part of a group of students passionate about public health who will be working together at PHTT 2019 to design an intervention to promote an all-encompassing inclusive agenda for people with disabilities, better known in the UAE as people of determination (PoDs)! This year, our theme centers around the health issues faced by young PoDs with a focus on the triad of social systems that contribute to their overall health: the healthcare system, the educational institution, and the the family unit.

*Non-NYUAD students can apply on a rolling basis till October 01.

Please take note of the following:
(i) The application is competitive - please take your time to thoroughly answers the long-response questions.
(ii) No prior experience is required - participants from non-medical backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
(iii) Only university-aged individuals are eligible to apply to this conference. This includes both undergraduate and graduate students (up until Masters level).
(iv) University-aged people of determination are STRONGLY encouraged to apply. All accommodations will be provided.
(v) Once accepted to the conference, there is a 105 AED participation fee that will be used to subsidize meals, t-shirts, and other supplies. (NYUAD students can attend free of charge)
(vi) Accepted participants are responsible for arranging their own visa and transportation. PHTT will provide on-campus housing at NYUAD (fees applicable).
