We are seeking your input
The UN-REDD Programme is seeking feedback to inform the design of its future work. This consultation is an invitation to provide inputs on the draft UN-REDD Strategy 2026-2030 beyond the current phase.
The draft UN-REDD 2026-2030 Strategy builds on the current Strategy, a formative review of the UN-REDD Programme, and an initial phase of consultations including at the recent UN-REDD Eighth Executive Board meeting. These steps have yielded rich insights and guidance that have helped to shape the emerging Strategy and make it fit for the future.
The Strategy sets out how the Programme can contribute to achieving the global goal of halting and reversing deforestation by the end of the decade, and what it can do to catalyse and support efforts to achieve this goal during the 2026-2030 period. For the 2026-2030 strategic cycle, UN-REDD is indicatively framed around four highly interrelated and mutually reinforcing outcomes (integrity, finance, ambition and results), and three cross-cutting elements (social inclusion and gender equality, knowledge, and convening, advocacy and communications).
