Join us for a practical, introductory webinar designed to deepen
understanding of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). This webinar will
explore what FASD is, common traits and characteristics, and how the disability
can impact behaviour and daily functioning. The session will also highlight
strengths-based, brain-based strategies to support individuals with FASD and
build confidence when responding to their unique needs.
About the presenters: Tara Leskey and Jennie Hilts
are the FASD Coordinators for Dufferin Child and Family Services, supporting
children, youth, and families from ages 0–18 across Dufferin, Wellington, and
Guelph. Together, Tara and Jennie offer knowledgeable, compassionate, and
comprehensive support to individuals living with FASD and the teams who care
for them.
