Intern with Momentom : Marketing & Social Media
​​DESCRIPTION

Momentom Collective is currently looking for highly creative, tech-savvy, free-spirited social media specialists who is keen to join an up and coming brand in circus and yoga arts. The Social Media Intern is responsible for coordinating and executing the company’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. This role offers the intern a total immersion into an international business and the successful candidate will work closely with key collective members to learn about social media, digital communications and marketing. This role will be instrumental in increasing our social media presence and gaining visibility for our brand among clients and candidates.

Ideal candidates will have a badass combination of skills, interest and experience to write grants, but will also be able to juggle community engagement, social media optimization and liaison with influencers. The overall goal will be to create highly compelling, engaging grants to gain extra visibility for Momentom.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

Assist with streamlining company social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flicker, and other social media platforms), ensuring uniform content and tone of voice for landing pages, graphics, and other elements within the communities.
Increase the number of followers we have on Instagram and Twitter by following and engaging with potential clients and candidates.
Scheduling and coordinating a monthly brainstorming meeting with Cogs Agency’s internal social media team to establish content ideas for the month ahead, and to plan for a monthly social media, editorial, marketing and blogging calendar.
Use LinkedIn polls and surveys to build our social media footprint and reputation
Track key social media analytics on a monthly basis, including Google Analytics, Bitly statistics, LinkedIn company stats, etc Provide progress reports on fellowship and conversion rates with project managers ;
Serve as a liaison between Momentom Collective and influencers & agencies or organizations ;
Work with each team to create and send one email broadcast per month around content ideas and keys jobs.


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Weird AF and own it
Love circus and has an active yoga practice
Experience with major social media sites: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google Plus, LinkedIn, etc
Blogging experience, speaks from heart
Self-motivated & Self-starter
Highly articulate, excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and environments
Professionalism and discretion are of utmost importance
Proven written communication skills, and a passion for writing both short and long copy
Excellent verbal communications skills
An interest in marketing, communications, social media or reputation management
Familiarity with key social media tools (e.g. Twitter and Facebook) and with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Working knowledge of Adobe Suite and similar programs a PLUS
Photography skills a PLUS
An entrepreneurial attitude
