Long Beach Adult Education Consortium Lecture Series on Adult Learners
Please join the Long Beach Adult Education Consortium for a lecture series on adult learners. These unique lectures are free to community members, practitioners, staff, and faculty.
Topics will include biases in the classroom, persistence of adult learners, an overview of studies from Centro CHA on Long Beach demographics and from the CSULB Center on Race.

3. March 6, 2020 – CSULB’s STAR Training “Staff and Students Talking About Race"
4. April 3, 2020 – Adult Learner Persistence
All lectures will take place on Fridays from 10am to 11:30am at Long Beach City College’s Pacific Coast Campus at 1305 E. Pacific Coast Highway.
