Audition Registration

Prepare a Enone's monologue from pp 41-42 of the script, which you can request by emailing jfiebig@uncfsu.edu

If you sing, please prepare 30 seconds of a song of your choosing. You may be asked to sing acapella or with a guitar or piano.

If you play an instrument from chord sheets, please bring it and play one of the same songs listed above; if you play an instrument that uses sheet music, please prepare the melody line from Behold (Andrew Peterson). We also invite you to show us your chops by inventing harmonic and melodic lines that could be played along with any of these songs.

There may also be selected cold readings from the plays, dance or movement work, and brief interview questions.

Guidelines:

We are interested in meeting the most authentic version of yourself possible, and in seeing what you can do.
We are interested in your prior theatre experience, but it is not required that you have any.
We are interested in your very clear speaking voice.
We are interested in why you are interested in the work we do.
We want to know whether you can sing, play, read music, move, and dance.
We want to know if you have experience or certification in stage combat.

These are low-pressure auditions. Come as you are.

Do not bring extra headshots or resumes. Submit electronically only.
