Hidden Harvest Group Volunteer Registration 2020
412 Food Rescue's Hidden Harvest urban program gleans fruits and vegetables from public and privately owned trees, orchards, farms and gardens to provide fresh food options for our nonprofit partners. Produce harvested that is not viable for donation is used to create value-added products that benefit our mission to end hunger and end food waste.
Harvest events run from June through October and are perfect team building opportunities for your company or team to spend time together in Pittsburgh's "urban wild," while directly supporting 412 Food Rescue's mission to keep perfectly good food out of the waste stream!
We can accommodate two size groups, either under 25 participants or 26 - 50 participants. We can work with your company to host more than one harvest or to further your partnership with 412 Food Rescue. Please email David Neimanis, Partner Experience Manager, at
for more information.
