Our club relies on the dedication of parent volunteers. Each family is required to contribute 10 volunteer hours per season (Fall and Spring), totaling 20 hours annually.
It is your responsibility to fulfill this commitment by signing up for volunteer opportunities that support our regattas, fundraisers, and special club initiatives.
Volunteer opportunities and sign-ups are communicated through email, the TeamSnap calendar, and our web pages. Regatta volunteer sign-ups are available directly on the individual regatta pages, which are updated regularly.  
Please note: Participation in social events such as Crew Holiday Parties, Order of the Kraken, and Dads Against Crabs does not count toward the required volunteer hours.
Buy-Out Fee: The club member's family may elect to "buy" out their obligation at a cost of $20 per hour.
Deficit Fee: Families not meeting the volunteer hourly commitment by the posted deadline (usually 2 weeks before the end of each season) will be assessed the prorated fee of $20 per hour for any deficit via PayPal invoice that will be sent to the  primary parent email address given during registration. HHS Rowing Club asks that each family volunteer and fundraise each season as per the HHSRC handbook and the Participation Agreement signed at registration.
