Requirements: Two contrasting, 16 bar cuts of a song (Sheet music) and a one minute monologue. We will have an accompanist, so please do not sing with a track or a capella. ALL Students are required to attend a dance call on the same day of their audition time.
Please know that you may be in the audition room from 1- 10 ten minutes. Each audition is different, so please do not get discouraged if your are only in the room for a short period of time. Please be prepared for the possibility to wait longer than your scheduled audition time.
Location: Sunday is at ZACH. Tuesday is at the Long Center
ALL ABOUT PPCPPC is an ensemble of ZACH's most dedicated up-and-coming performers. Students are divided in Companies based on age and ability. PPC is for serious students looking for a professional training experience. The overall goal of PPC is to improve overall technique, prepare students for college and career training, and to provide opportunities that help students grow as performing artists. PPC members study with Broadway and Professional Teaching Artists and are offered classes in voice, acting, auditioning technique, college prep, ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre dance (different styles and genres) and nutrition. Performance opportunities at ZACH as well as at other community events around Austin.
Fall Semester- students meet once a week for classes: College Prep, Dance, Voice, Musical Theatre Scene Study, and Choreography.

Spring semester- students will continue their technique work while rehearsing for the PPC Musical Showcase. The PPC showcase is designed to highlight students specific performance abilities and their skills learned.
ALL ABOUT SELECT ENSEMBLEThe Select Ensemble is a group of students chosen to represent the Long Center education programs and perform numbers during the Greater Austin High School Musical Awards Ceremony. Rehearsals run throughout the year, concentrated between February and April. The Awards Ceremony will either be Wednesday April 12 or Thursday April 13, 2017.
