Qualified artists will be invited to join Music to Life's juried roster of activist artists (network of talented musicians who receive performance, educational and funding opportunities) and be eligible for paid participation in the AMA as it travels through New England (Fall 2019 and beyond). Also, selected NH/VT based artists will be invited and offered a stipend to perform/speak at Music to Life's NH benefit event on November 8th 2019 at the Lebanon Opera House along with funds and advisory services for their music-driven social change project. Finally, there may be another paid opportunity for artists who work with (or are interested in working with) teens to create a special project around the issue of teen homelessness (please indicate your background and specific interest in this area, if applicable, on your application).
Through this Call for Proposals, applicants should demonstrate:
** Skill as a performing artist (original songs of concern, or reconceived classics, are encouraged)** Interest in an issue of concern ** (ideally) 1-3 years experience with community-based, music-driven social change efforts, initiatives or formal projects** Availability for a Music to Life benefit event (in Lebanon, NH) on 11/8/19
