2025 Local Working Group Survey - Middle Park Conservation District
PLEASE COMPLETE BY MAY 20, 2025!

The Middle Park Conservation District is a political subdivision of the State of Colorado formed under the Colorado Soil Conservation Act of 1937. Our office is located in Kremmling, but our area encompasses all of Grand and Summit Counties. Our mission is to promote the wise use and sustainability of land, soil, water, air, wildlife and related natural resources for the benefit of all.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), formerly known as the Soil Conservation Service (SCS), is an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) that provides technical assistance to farmers and other private landowners and managers.

The following survey aides MPCD and NRCS in:
Adjust priority resource concerns,
Change allocation distributions,
Create new fund pools for priority/ specialized projects
Request changes in payment schedules,
Inform technical decisions and state level implementation requirements,
Identify barriers in local and state level program participation
Adopt/ identify new technologies and practices that have proven successful locally
Collect local success stories
Understand training needs for producers, partners, and staff
And much, much more
