I have a good relationship with my child's teacher and other staff
The teacher often shares information about things happening in the program. The teachers ask about things that are important to our family and uses this information to help my child grow and learn.
I talk with teachers about my child multiple times a week
I received information at time of enrollment and/or throughout the year about the program including program mission and philosophy, rules and expectations, and procedures for pickup and drop off.
Since Covid, we have not changed our drop off and pick up procedures. Would you like to see families allowed back in classrooms or stay with the current system?
When I disagree with a teacher or a policy, I feel comfortable letting the teacher or administrator know.
I am comfortable with what my child is learning and how progress is measured.
I receive a written assessment about my child twice a year.
The teacher and program work with me to meet my child's individual or special needs and help me get other resources with the community as needed.
I am aware of administrative roles and feel I can reach out to them appropriately.
I generally feel welcomed and respected by the program staff and that my contributions are valued.
For families that speak another language other than English at home: The teacher and I discuss the language used to teach my child.
For families with babies: The program supports breastfeeding by providing space, storage and instructing staff on handling procedures.
