Warren Central High School will:
Convene an annual meeting of parents to inform them of Title I participation, its requirements, and parents’ rights to be involved.
Provide parent conferences and meetings at flexible times throughout the year.
Involve parents in an organized, ongoing, and timely way in the planning, review, and improvement of Title 1 programs, including planning, review, and improvement of the Parental Involvement Policy.
Provide timely information about programs under Title I, description of the school’s curriculum, explanations of academic assessments, and opportunities for regular participation in your child’s education through parent/teacher conferences, PTSO meetings, and Title 1 parent meetings.
Use suggestions made by parents to improve the Parent Involvement Policy. If the plan is unsatisfactory, it will be submitted to LEA (Local Educational Agency)
Jointly develop, review, and update with parents, a school-parent compact
Build teachers’ and parents’ capacity for strong parental involvement through sharing the responsibility for improved academic achievement in order to help students reach the State’s high standards
To the extent practical, Warren Central High will provide opportunities for the participation of parents with limited English proficiency, parents with disabilities, and parents of migratory children.
