The What IF…Festival seeks food vendors to sell their imaginative culinary creations at the Festival on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 in downtown Colorado Springs.  Award-winning food trucks and restaurants are part of our Festival each year.  We want the food vendors to do well and we want the public to be happy.  

Is your menu special?  Can you provide abundant, non-stop food that people rave about?  You’re the vendor for us! We invite applications showing innovation and imagination of food and/or drink products highlighting any culinary domain/discipline. We encourage applications for sales of innovative foods featuring new preparation processes. Express your own innovation and imagination or the imagination within your organization, group of friends, business, or company, and devise a way to sell it.

Booth fees are $200 plus $50 if you need to use an electric outlet.  (A few 220 outlets are available)  We begin including you in our festival advertising once you are accepted and have paid.  You will need to be self-contained with an appropriate weighted tent structure or food truck. Generators need to be quiet whisper models, or we will need to place you in a separate location. You will need to provide a copy of your Health Department license and a Certificate of Insurance.

The WHAT IF… FESTIVAL OF INNOVATION AND IMAGINATION invites you to showcase and sell your imaginative food and/or drink products.  

 Submit your application, and the planning team will let you know!
 
The What IF Festival is Saturday, September 10, 2022, with select Experiences from throughout the region.  The Public Hours of operation for the Festival are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Food vendors will need to be set up and ready for city fire safety inspection so we coordinate arrivals starting at 7am.

OBJECTIVES OF THE WHAT IF FESTIVAL ARE ...
• Shine the light on diverse forms of innovation and imagination in our community. Show off cool people, cool businesses.
• Engage as many people as possible in a day of “wows!” together. Engage people of all ages in their own personally creative experiences. Celebrate together – share joys and aha’s!
• Cultivate creative collaborations and relationships that connect our community. Foster more innovation, invention, sustainability ideas, entrepreneurs, and creators.  
SHOW IT - WHAT WE NEED:
Each application must show that:

•  The proposed food sales experience is in good taste, appropriate for a family-friendly event and professionally presented and/or executed.
•  Please complete one proposal for each Food Vending Space needed. Each space is approximately 10’x20’ and located in the Food Vending Sales Areas.
