Thank you for your interest in the research of the Risk to Resilience Lab lab at Arizona State University. This survey is intended to help determine whether there is a good mutual fit between your interests and goals, and the activities of the lab.
Research assistants are expected to commit to the lab for one year, work approximately 10 hours per week, have at least one lab day a week, and attend the weekly lab meeting.
Undergraduate students can work in the lab for course credit during the semester.
For undergraduate psychology students who want to gain research experience, SIF offers two options based on your familiarity with research. Consult with your faculty advisor about which course best suits your goals.

It does not affect GPA and is intended to provide foundational research experience. Enrollment options are 1-3 credit hours. Typical time commitment: 3 hours/week per credit hour. Can be repeated for up to 6 credits.
- PSY499: Designed for students with more research experience, it involves more intensive commitment and completing an independent project. Letter-graded course that impacts GPA. Enrollment options are 1-3 credit hours. Typical time commitment: 3 hours/week per credit hour.
