Students from the Web Science Doctoral Training Centre at the University of Southampton are hosting a remote hub, and we invite you to join us for as many of the sessions as your would like. We'll be following the web cast from a room on campus, discussing the issues locally, and joining the global conversation.
We plan to join afternoon sessions from the main programme, which, due to the timezone difference will take place from 10.30am - 12noon; and 12.30 - 2.00pm.
The full schedule can be found linked as an Excel file at http://www.intgovforum.org/ - but we have selected some suggested sessions below. Please indicate any that you would be interested in taking part in, so that we can choose which sessions to join via Remote Participation.
We will then hopefully be able to join one of the pre-events. Events we may be able to join are:
- A Council of Europe conference on Cybercrime and rule of law safeguards - The GIGANET Annual Symposium (an academic workshop on Internet Governance) - An Internet Society Briefing
You can also look up full details of sessions by number at http://www.intgovforum.org/cms/w2012/proposals
We can use the time before and after sessions for local discussions. If you would like to host a local discussion around one of the sessions above, or have expertise that could be useful to others in the room, please note down below:
