About the CPA Alumni Association

The Fort Smith Citizen's Police Academy Alumni Association is an organization made up of graduates of the Fort Smith Police Department's Citizen's Police Academy. The CPAAA was organized to serve as ambassadors for the Fort Smith Police Department and to aid the department in various activities deemed to be safe and appropriate for civilians. The CPAAA also seeks to advance the concept of Community Policing and promote the Citizen's Police Academy. The CPAAA is not used nor operated for private profit, and no property of the association whall be used for the furtherance of private profit of any member or special group. The CPAAA shall not be used for any purpose other than for benevolent, charitable, scientific, and educational purposes conducive to the well-being of the community and useful to the public or law enforcement agency. The CPAAA is a subsidiary organization under the direction and oversight of the Fort Smith Police Department.

    The CPA Alumni Association meets quarterly at the Fort Smith Police Training center located at 8400 Zero Street. A copy of the organizational bylaws can be provided upon request. For more information visit our website at: cpa.fortsmithpd.org/alumni-association

    Memberships dues are paid yearly in the amount of $20.
