As the PCCO (Personal Care Sector Cross Organisational Group) our organisations have united and aligned to represent the broad spectrum of people working in our industry.
Working collaboratively, our joint aim is to lobby and work with government to ensure we help provide a better future for everyone working in the sector.

Following the Autumn Statement we have been inundated with messages from the industry and within 24 hours of this we provided a detailed response to DBT, Ministers and other government departments. We then discussed content during an emergency meeting on 23rd November at 3pm. Our department were very helpful and asked us to get feedback from you to evidence how this has impacted you!
As a reaction to the recent Autumn Statement, whilst we are very grateful to the DBT department for fighting our corner in securing an extension to the 75% rates relief. However we are dismayed that the statement did nothing to address the concerns of VAT registered PAYE employers in our sector. In fact it our belief that this made things worse.
