Hello, and thank you for registering for the Early Childhood Advocacy Training! A zoom link will be emailed to you closer to the training date.
- Advocacy 101: Thursday, January 22nd, 6-8:00pm! Learn the basics of how a bill becomes a law and how to connect your personal story to early childhood policy/funding decisions and share it with legislators. This training is eligible for Set 2 credit in ORO.
- Understanding the Oregon Legislative Information System (OLIS): Tuesday, Feb 3rd, 6-7pm! Learn how to navigate OLIS, submit public testimony, follow early childhood policy and sign up for alerts
The trainings will be held on Zoom and use Google slides. Training materials have screen reader, braille, and magnifier support enabled. Transcription, captioning, and chat save are enabled in zoom.
