Volunteer with us and experience the best of Denmark at the Danish Club Brisbane's food event! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with tasks like setting up the kitchen, decorating the club, managing the shop and kitchen, selling raffle tickets, and cleaning up after the event. As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to meet new people, develop new skills, and be a part of an amazing community event celebrating Danish culture and cuisine. KITCHEN

Set up kitchen with tea, coffee, biscuits, milk (cow and oat/soya), and vegetarian option

Manage the kitchen and food presentation. Foods will be discussed with the interested volunteers.

Doing dishes. We can share the load the more we are to help here.

Food Safety Supervisor: I am happy to help Charlotte with the knowledge and load. (Danish Club Brisbane will reimburse anyone interested in taking the course)

BAR

Set up the bar and restock any last-minute items

Ensure all sponsors are represented and their promo materials are displayed

Check float, clean bar top, open bar. Alcohol can be served from 6PM Fridays!

Set up tables, chairs, and tablecloths

Set up Carlsberg (umbrellas and barrier breezers) if needed

DANISH CLUB SHOP

Set up the shop. All items are in Door no 2. Arrange items so they are neat and easy to see.

Manage the shop and sell items. All items now have price tags on them.

Sell raffle tickets and manage games

DECORATIONS AND OTHER AREA *

Have non-ticket holders sign into the guest book.

Make sure the club is decorated appropriately. Decorations are in cupboard no 3.

Ensure any entertainment is set up. If musicians are present, make sure they have enough floor space. During event, make sure they are taken care off with drinks, food etc.

Ensure music (f.ex Spotify playlist with lyrics) is set up.

Ensure all sponsors are represented and their promo materials are displayed

Take photos and upload to social media

Clean up and place all decorations back in their correct spot in cupboard no. 3 after event

Collect all table cloths in black plastic bag and ensure they are placed in the small entry way between the front door and the roller door.
