Benevolence Request 
Cornerstone seeks to help those that we can help (Matthew 25:40). In order to best accomplish this, we have instituted the following guidelines.

1. All non-member requests are subject to a minimum 48-hour waiting period.  We need time to investigate any request.  Please note that this means you will not receive any financial assistance on the day of the request.

2. All non-member requests must come from those who reside in Sherwood, AR.  If you live outside of Sherwood, we ask that you seek help from a church in your location. If you are out of state travelling through, we may help with gas.

3. All non-member requests require you to fill out a request form.  You will also need to provide non-expired, state issued ID.  If you receive assistance from us, you will not be eligible to receive assistance again unless you have begun to faithfully attend a church.  We will ask for the church and pastor’s contact information prior to any assistance being provided.

4. We do not give out cash.  You must produce a bill, and if we provide assistance, we will pay the creditor directly.

What Happens Next?
After we receive your request, it will be reviewed by our staff.  We may request documents from you (i.e. a driver license, a bill, proof of residency, etc.).  Please remember that you can expect to wait a minimum of 48 hours before receiving any assistance.
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
