Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner 40-Hour Training
This is the application to register for the SANE Course on August 26th, 27th, & 28th with optional in-person August 29th or 30th. This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the International Association of Forensic Nurses, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation for 40.3 contact hours. Registration Deadline August 15, 2020. Registrants must have access to a computer to complete 21.58 hours of online materials prior to August 25th and a computer with audio and video capability to participate in the virtual lectures during the three scheduled days of class. It is important to be able to access the internet where you can have consistent strong bandwidth and minimal noise distractions in the background during the actual class. Attendance in the three-day virtual course and completion of pre-course work is required to receive contact hours and completion certificate.

A four-hour hands-on skill session will be offered in Provo on August 29th or August 30th. This is optional and credit is not offered for these four hours. This will be a great opportunity to practice what you have learned on live model patients, including speculum placement, evidence collection, and packaging.
