Each year, thousands of people are engaged in the Center for Birds of Prey's science and natural history based educational programs. The power and beauty of birds of prey cast them as unparalleled ambassadors in public education – exemplifying both the intellectual and ethical aspects of conservation management. The experiential program offered by the Center, located more than an hour north of Seabrook Island, promotes an awareness and appreciation for the natural world and our respective roles as stewards in its preservation.
Join SIB at the Lake House for an up close and personal informative evening with staff from the Center for Birds of Prey as they discuss and demonstrate the abilities of several of their birds. SIB held this program on Seabrook Island in 2015 and it has been requested by many of our members. To help us plan for the number of chairs, snacks and wine, please let us know you plan to attend by completing this easy sign up form below.
