Are you interested in mystery rodents? These are entirely chosen by us, except which type of rodent and sex. These are $10 off per rodent & a great option for pet adopters! *

A minimum 3-4 week quarantine is required if you currently have any rodents. They need to be kept in a separate area of your home or in another air space if available.  Do you understand? *

Rats and female mice are very social animals and do best in groups of at least three. For adopters that do not currently have female mice or rats of either sex, they will only be adopted in groups of THREE OR MORE. For those with existing colonies, they can be adopted in pairs. We do not adopt out solo female mice or rats under any circumstance. Do you understand? *
All reserved rodents must be picked up within 14 days, if for any reason we need to board them for longer there will be a boarding fee per animal due prior to pick up. *

We do require cage approval prior to adoption. Once your cage is FULLY set up, please send us a photo or video with a cup of any kind (glass, coffee mug, plastic etc) with the cage for verification of authenticity. Hospital/QT cages only need to be fully set up if you are adding to your colony. If that’s not the case, it doesn’t need to be set up. Again, please include the cup. We offer transport within a 2 hour radius for $0.50/mile round trip. This also applies to meeting a third party small animal transport if they cannot meet locally. Do you need transport? *

We do require a 50% non refundable deposit to reserve our rodents. This can be paid via PayPal/Venmo (F&F), CashApp or Zelle. For local adoptions & our transport service,  the balance is due at pick up. For those using a third party transport, the balance is due three days prior to the start of the transport. Why do you want to adopt pet rats/mice/hamster? *
If you are adopting on a pet only contract and decide to breed without our permission (we do adopt to breeders, however it’s a separate application process) you will be placed on our Do Not Sell list and your name will be shared with other breeders. Do you agree: *
We will always take back any animal bred here & in the event that you can no longer care for your pet(s) we do require first contact to rehome. We can help you vet a new home or bring them back here regardless of the reason. They are ALWAYS welcome back with us. Do you agree? *
We do ask that all adopters keep us apprised of any & all unforeseen temperament and/or health issues that arise. We track this information so that we can make corrections as needed. Without adopters letting us know when they run into any issues, we won’t know what needs to be addressed. Of course we also love positive check ins! Are you willing to keep us updated? *
If you are more than 15 minutes late to our prearranged pick-up time, the pick-up will have to be rescheduled. There are no exceptions. If you are traveling a far distance, please plan accordingly by adding extra time to your commute, this will allow for any hang ups you may encounter on the drive here. Any transport fees paid are forfeited if adopter is over 15 minutes late. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your rescheduled pick-up time the sale will be considered cancelled, and you will forfeit your deposit. This is also the case for no show/no call except in the case of an emergency. All animals will then be made available again in the event of either situation. We value your time, please value ours. Do you need to purchase a carrier from us? These range from $2 to $15 depending on carrier & are sold at cost. *
Have you done your research on potential zoonotic diseases carried by rodents? While we do sample testing for many pathogens, every animal is not tested & our sample testing does not cover everything. Hantavirus, Leptospirosis, Salmonellosis & rat bite fever (RBF) are some examples of zoonotic diseases. We do not currently test for RBF, though plan to later this year. For this reason we do not recommend rodents as pets to children under 8 years of age, the elderly or anyone else with a compromised immune system. Special consideration should be taken if you have anyone within your household that falls into these categories. If you have questions, please reach out. *
