Battleground Skate House & Youth Center Inc. Board of Directors Application
Thank you for taking time to fill out this informal application so that board members who do not know you can learn a little more about you before we meet in person. We know you are busy so do not feel that you must take hours to make this a polished literary work! We just need the basics!

Being on a board has legal requirements so feel free to request a look at our bylaws. But for now, we would like to let you know that we have a few very basic expectations of board members to keep membership possible for people with work, commitments and families. But we encourage you to consider being involved much more as the Lord leads you!

Required:
Attend meetings to help direct BG vision, strategy & business  (once a month - 1 hrs. each)
Come quarterly to an outreach or Skate Church (1-2 hrs. each time)
Host at least one tour of the park per year, inviting friends to hear about the mission (2-3 hours altogether with prep and follow up  
Attend our 1 fundraising lunch per year (1-2 hrs.)

Encouraged:
Volunteer in park and at events quarterly or more often
Share testimony at Skate Church, invite friends to do the same
Spread the word about Battleground in the community and on social media
Join one or more committees accomplishing goals toward the Battleground mission!
