Talk It Up. Lock It Up! TM is an innovative strategy to change the physical environment relative to youth access to alcohol in homes. The goal of the campaign is to encourage parents and adults in the community to secure and monitor the alcohol in their home.

Statistics About Youth Who Use Alcohol Before Age 21: Two out of three teens, aged 13-18, said it is easy to get alcohol from their homes without parents knowing about it. AMA 2005; A majority of underage current drinkers in 2007 reported that their last use of alcohol in the past month occurred either in someone else's home (56.3 percent) or their own home (29.4 percent).
