Walla Walla High School students parking on campus are required to have a student parking permit. Driving a motor vehicle is a privilege and not a right, and with that freedom to drive comes a responsibility.
1. Park only within the student spaces or in spaces with a special permit issued by the State of Washington. See map.
2. Abide by the campus speed limit of 10mph.
3. Keep their vehicle in good repair and be covered by adequate liability insurance by the company listed below. Driver’s license and current insurance information must be provided in this form.
5. Maintain current vehicle information with the school.
6. Display their parking permit in the windshield, visible from the outside of the vehicle.
7. Not access their vehicle during the school day unless they have approval from administration.
I, the student-driver, also agree that if I am found in violation of the agreements above, I may receive a parking fine, lose my parking privileges, and/or receive school discipline. Reckless or irresponsible driving, speeding, or endangerment whether on campus or the adjacent streets before, during, or after school can result in the involvement of the police.
As the parent, my name typed below indicates that I hereby request that my student driver be granted permission to park a vehicle on campus within the parameters outlined above. I also give my student driver permission to leave campus for lunch, their job or a school related activity.
As the student driver, I have read and understand the information above. I also realize that my vehicle may be fined at my expense if I park without a permit or illegally park. I also understand that vehicles parked on the school grounds are subject to search by school administrators per Walla Walla School District Policy 3230.
Free parking permits will be issued and can be picked up in the main office starting the second week of school.
