An entry in this Visitors Book is required for every Visitor aged of 16 or over

Each visitor under the age of 16 must be registered with the Head of Group. They will remain the responsibility of the Head of Group and your Host for the duration of their visit.

All persons or groups visiting Otley Sailing Club must register in this Visitors Book. By registering in this book you are accepting that you and your group / family have read and understood the information and risks associated with this sport. You and your family will become temporary members of Otley Sailing Club for the duration of this visit and as such must comply with the Club Rules.

All visitors must listen to all safety briefings and instructions before taking part in this activity. DO NOT participate in the activity if you do not feel you have understood the briefing and/or instructions. All participants must obey all the instructions given by Otley Sailing Club at all times. Otley Sailing Club reserves the right to terminate the activity with immediate effect if staff feel participants are not following instructions.

Strictly no alcohol is to be consumed before or during any on water activity. All protective equipment including buoyancy aids and head protection must be worn for the duration of the on water activity.

All equipment must remain on site and be returned to the designated area after use. The equipment remains the property of Otley Sailing Club and in the event of any damage being caused to the equipment through the fault of the participant; the participant is liable to pay for the repair/replacement.

All participants must understand that sailing can be a dangerous activity. Whilst all efforts are maintained to safeguard participants from such dangers, accidents and injuries can happen. In agreeing to take part in this activity and signing this disclaimer, you are acknowledging these dangers and agree to take part at your own discretion. Otley Sailing Club are not liable for damage or loss to persons or property however incurred.

All existing injuries or health issues that may be affected by you taking part in this activity must be reported to Otley Sailing Club before taking part.

I have read the rules of the declaration and I agree to be bound by them. All activities are dangerous and hazardous and I agree to take part at my own risk. Otley Sailing Club will not accept any liability however caused for death, personal injury, loss or damage suffered by participants.
