Intersect STEM is a 501c3 non-profit organization that focuses on providing STEM outreach and mentorship to incoming international and refugee students in Cleveland, with the goal of promoting science and integrating these students in the STEM community.
We offer two programs:
1) Monthly Seminars: Monthly virtual and in-person STEM workshops and seminars with guest speakers, hands on experiments, and opportunities to explore STEM subjects.
2) Pilot Research Program: Research Program with tailored mentorship for refugee students seeking to perform their own scientific project, with the opportunity to receive funding and present at science fairs.
