Adler’s Teen Programs focus on providing technical and professional skills, leadership development and mentorship in a supportive welcoming learning environment for high school age youth of all backgrounds, interests, and abilities.
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE FOLLOWING TEEN OPPORTUNITIES:
TEAM STRATONAUTS: Team Stratonauts is a teen-focused, curiosity-driven cohort of high school-aged science pioneers, part of the Far Horizons Program (The Adler's Space Exploration Program). Not only will participants learn important STEM skills: 3D Printing, Computer-Aided Design, Data Analysis, Coding, Soldering, High Altitude Ballooning-BUT they will also be learning alongside Adler STEM Professionals. Learn as a team, build as a team, explore as a team!
Y.O.L.O.(Youth Organization for Lights Out): This ten-week program will empower you to participate in the scientific inquiry process as you collect, analyze, and share results of your light pollution investigations through civic action and community advocacy. You will also develop a prototype solution and action plans to increase awareness of light pollution.
* All new and returning teens accepted into our fall programs are required to attend Fall Orientation. Parents and guardians are also highly encouraged to attend this informative event. * Brunch will be provided.
