RSVP for the Nov 13 workshop "Writing Successful Grants"
UAW 5810, the union of Postdocs and Academic Researchers, is hosting a follow up to our panel "Winning Fellowships and Awards" last May. This time, we have invited Dr Melinda Gormley, Research Development Officer here at UCI for a workshop:
Obtaining funding for your research is a highly competitive process. This seminar offers tips for finding funding solicitations that fit your project, describes several templates for presenting your work in a grant proposal, and suggests good practices to invoke and pitfalls to avoid.
