Spring 2022 arrives filled with the hope of new beginnings and the sorrows of war. The days warm, and the birds return giving hope for a new year even as friends around the world struggle for freedom. In an attempt to hold both joys and grief we offer this spring gathering.

Morning activities are child-focused, filled with egg decorating, an egg hunt, crafts, and games.
Please bring treats to share. "Deanery fairies" will hide them in the woods while the children decorate their eggs and play. At 11:30 Ollie the Owl will lead the children on a collaborative treat hunt. Before heading home the treats will shared out amoung all participating :)

The afternoon is a time for people to come together to support Ukraine and Peace through art and kite making.
We will build simple blue and yellow kites, and release their messages of peace together on the field.

11:30 -12:00 Egg hunt!!
12:00 -1:30 Lunch - Borscht, home made bread and dessert
1:00 - 3:00 Ukrainian Peace solidarity events (by donation)
Kite building
Collective art weaving project
Art demonstrations: stained glass and knitting and tunes
Silent auction to support Ukraine
3:00 Closing Circle - Peace for Ukraine Solidarity
