Volunteer Sign Up Form
The PTO is looking ahead to a successful 2019-20 school year, but we need your help! We are only able to offer wonderful programs and events at Roy Cloud because of parent participation. Please check off the areas where you would like to volunteer. Use "Other" if you are interested in volunteer work not mentioned in this list.
You will be contacted by the event lead in the area you are volunteering. You may not be contacted right away as some of these events won't take place until spring. Please don't hesitate to contact the event leads directly with questions. (

Auction - February 22. This is our largest volunteer need right now! Help is needed in all areas. Donation solicitation, project management, data entry, decor, party planning, set up, break down, and more!
Middle School Halloween Social - Thursday, October 31. Held in the MUB at the end of the school day. Help organize food, games, and music.
Scholastic Book Fair - December 9-11. Partnership with Scholastic to sell books. Held in the Library. Includes one evening event for families. Set up, book sales, break down.
Family Dance - March 6. An evening dance for families in the MUB. Decor and food planning, set up, clean up, facilitate games.
Art Show - April 23. Artwork will be on display from every Roy Cloud student. Held in the MUB during Open House. Mount art at home prior to the art show, set up/hang art, breakdown.
Coordinate food trucks and music to be on the blacktop during Open House on April 23.
Jog A Thon - Friday, May 15. Students collect donations for the number of laps jogged around the school. Lap counters, T-shirt sales, advertising, middle school color run, set up and breakdown, hospitality, and much more!
Used Book Fair - May 27-29 in the library. Parents drop off used books the weeks prior. Sort, set up, sell books, breakdown.
8th Grade Graduation Committee. Activities include the Back to School BBQ, pool party at the Elks Lodge, pre-graduation breakfast, graduation dance or grad night event, and graduation ceremony. Lots of parent help is needed planning and volunteering at these events!
After School Enrichment - Assist with walking students from their classrooms to the after school programs. Monday-Thursday. This occurs at Kinder release time 1:45 and at 1st-3rd release time 2:25. You would help at a regular time slot that works for you. Pls indicate below.
School Beautification - Ongoing clean up and beautification around campus.
Photography of school events for use on website and other media.
Staff Appreciation & Hospitality - General assistance at events, set up/clean up, bring and/or serve food.
Note: There may also be opportunities to help in your child's classroom with things like art, science and library. Sign ups are typically in your classroom at back to school night. Thank you for your support!
