The Summer Reading Star is a program to encourage all students to maintain and expand their literary progress over the summer. We will be tracking in three tiers. Keep reading and you can advance to the next level!

Summer Reader- less than 20 minutes per day
Summer Star- 20 to 40 minutes per day
Summer Super Star – One hour (60 minutes) of reading per day!

All of our Summer Readers will receive a Summer Reader book mark. All of our Summer Stars will receive a certificate of accomplishment from Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez. All of our Summer Super Stars will receive the above, and be entered into the raffle. And the Reader with the highest cumulative reading total for the summer, per age group, will win gift certificates to a local restaurant.

El programa, Summer Reading Star (Lector Estrella de Verano), está dedicado a motivar a todos los estudiantes a mantener y ampliar su progreso literario durante el verano. Los estaremos monitoreando en tres niveles. ¡Sigue leyendo y puedes avanzar al siguiente nivel!

Lector de verano – leen menos de 20 minutos al día
Estrella de verano – leen de 20 a 40 minutos al día
Súper estrella de verano – ¡leen una hora (60 minutos) al día!

Todos nuestros lectores de verano recibirán un marcador de libro. Las estrellas de varano recibirán un certificado de logro del concejal Ydanis Rodríguez. Las súper estrellas de verano, además de recibir lo anteriormente mencionado, también serán entradas a un sorteo. Dividiendo a los niños en grupos por edad, el lector que haya leído la mayor cantidad de tiempo en cada grupo recibirá un certificado de regalo para un restaurante local.
