Example of a typical MSMP volunteer schedule:

MSMP students meet from 6:30-8:00 PM on Wednesdays throughout the school year at Garfield Community Center.

6:30: Session start-time. Students gather for community time, tuning, and preparing to play. MSMP volunteers arrive and are briefed by SMP staff about the evening's goals and program updates.
7:00 - 8:00 pm: MSMP volunteers lead small group sectionals (2-3 students) or one-on-one sessions with students. The small groups will switch partway through with students who were in ensemble practice time,
8:00: Session end-time. MSMP volunteers help break down rehearsal gear and debrief.
