Application for Virtual Enrollment - Spring Semester 2026
Please answer all of the following questions. Fill out a separate form for each child. You will be notified by email after the enrollment has closed if your student(s) have been accepted into the virtual school.

When the teachers return in January, we will review the enrollments and make sure that we haven't sent your student back to seated school.  If we have then they will not qualify for virtual.  
We may call you to clarify some of your answers.  You will be notified by your and your student's school email if you have been accepted into Joplin Schools Virtual Academy
Before filling this out, please read and agree with this statement. 

By signing my child up for virtual, I understand that they are responsible for logging in and completing daily work. The teacher will monitor their progress but the student is the one who is responsible for keeping current in their courses. Failure to keep current in courses will result in the student being sent back to their in-seat school.  At the secondary level (6th - 12th Grades) if two or more courses are not completed or passed then student will be sent back to seated classes also.
