Saturday Afternoon: Mahjong, Chinese Chess and Go Session
Sign up for our next Saturday afternoon Mahjong, Chinese Chess and Go sessions at the Wellington Bridge Club, 1pm-5.30pm.

Whether you're a complete beginner or have some skills under your belt, come along to enjoy some friendly games. You can drop in and leave anytime. Bring along friends and family.

We offer a variety of Mahjong styles to suit your preference, including Cantonese, Hong Kong, Sichuan, and Taiwanese. 

Lessons are available for Mahjong. 

While we primarily play Mahjong; Chinese Chess and Go is available for play. Lessons and players for Go will need to be arranged in advance.


Session details:

  • Time: Monthly Saturday afternoon, 1 - 5.30pm.

  • Venue: Tinakori Room (Ground floor), Wellington Bridge Club, 17 Tinakori Rd, Thorndon

  • Fee: $10 per person

  • Refreshments: Tea, coffee and light afternoon tea provided.

  • Lessons available 1.30 - 2.30pm

Schedule:

  • Doors open at 1:00pm for a 1:15pm start.

  • Afternoon tea: 2.45 - 3.15pm

  • Games finish by 5:15pm.
